Why Tsfat?

Over five hundred years ago, Tsfat and the Upper Galilee were home to some of the greatest scholars, mystics and spiritual leaders in Jewish history. They strove to fuse heaven and earth by merging together the hidden and revealed aspects of Jewish life, establishing the spiritual foundation for the entire Jewish world. Among them were the Holy Arizal, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria, who formulated the entire system now used to understand the Kabbalah, and the Beit Yosef, Rabbi Yosef Karo, author of the Shulchan Aruch, the definitive Code of Jewish Law.

To this day, Tsfat continues the chain of events in developing and advancing authentic Jewish spirituality.
